What should quality TVI services include?

Quality TVI services should address assessment, access to materials, learning media, braille and tactile learning when needed, assistive technology, Expanded Core Curriculum skills, concept development, team collaboration, and independence.

Services should be individualized. A strong TVI program does not only respond to assignments. It proactively teaches the access skills a student needs to participate, learn, communicate, and become more independent.
